Delta 8 THC is one of the major cannabinoids found in the marijuana plant. Naturally found in small amounts in cannabis plants, HHC can also be synthesized in labs. THC-P, or Tetrahydrocannabiphorol, is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in cannabis. It is structurally similar to Delta 9 THC, the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, but with a longer alkyl side chain, which is believed to make it bind more strongly to the body’s CB1 receptors. This potentially increases its psychoactive effects, making THC-P up to 30 times more potent than Delta 9 THC.
THC-O, or THC-O acetate, is a synthetic cannabinoid derived from Delta 9 THC. It is created through a chemical process that adds an acetate group to THC, making it more potent—up to three times stronger than Delta 9 THC. THC-O is known for producing intense, longer-lasting psychoactive effects, often described as more psychedelic or spiritual.
THC-JD is a rare, naturally occurring cannabinoid recently discovered in cannabis. It is similar to Delta 9 THC, the well-known psychoactive compound, but with a unique molecular structure that includes a longer alkyl chain. This structural difference may make THC-JD more potent than Delta 9 THC, leading to stronger psychoactive effects. Due to its recent discovery, research on THC-JD is limited, and its full effects, benefits, and safety profile are not yet well understood.
